Satellite TV on PC

Apparently it is a software technology that taps into more than “2,500” TV channels worldwide right over the Internet. Now you can enjoy more channels than your cable and satellite TV combined for a one-time fee less than one month of your monthly cable bill, these sounds too good to be true.

You don't need a satellite dish, receiver or any other equipment to use this software. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. Simply download our software and you are ready to enjoy over 3,500 channels worldwide. So DishSetup.net went ahead and purchased a couple of different types of this software and tried using it to see if it is what they say it is. It proved nothing but worthless.

Please be advised that your ISP (Internet Service Provider) has a bandwidth programmed to your monthly needs such as Bell Internet previously known as “Sympatico” or “Rogers High Speed Internet” provide a bandwidth usage monthly anywhere from 60 GB or up or it could be less and know that if you go over your monthly limit you will receive a huge bill for bandwidth usage of the internet services.

I don’t think that our loyal customers would want to spend $40 for no reason or for something that they never use. The good thing about it is that you may get different frequencies around the world but they cannot be guaranteed that it will work. Most of the channels that we tested to be watched mostly are always down. In fact 95% of the channels we wanted to watch are missing links or no update available for them.

These are the actual words you will hear about what the companies are doing to charge you for it. But be aware of such scam wares they are similar to a system of satellite channels known as the Galaxy 25 or 97 West. These channels do come online for free through their respective producers and broadcasters.

Although we are testing different devices on a weekly basis and as soon as we think it meets our quality control standards we will be more than happy to address it in our weekly newsletters.

Does this Satellite TV on PC really work?
I have seen many websites advertising software that is supposed to give you a free satellite tv connection and you could be watching any channel or “3500” channels for free. Doesn’t this sound too good to be true? I mean you tell me, would you go through all the hassle to offer other people the options to have anything they want while you are not having it yourself?  It is supposed to bring all the satellite television channels on to your PC and all you have to do is have an internet connection.

We have been in the satellite installation and programming business since the 90’s and you telling me that we do not know about satellite television? It is like telling a doctor you are not a doctor or telling an actual uniformed police officer you are not a police officer. Now that so called “Satellite TV on PC” program costs somewhere around $40 however, the maker or the distributors claim that it lets you watch hundreds of live worldwide channels free of charge.

Is this a scam? Can I really get free satellite TV on my PC?
Through our research and gathering of information and legit factors everything we have read about this type of invention tells us it's a scam, or at least a waste of money. The software you get for your forty bucks is nothing more than a menu of free online television broadcasts. Most of the stations listed are foreign, and the list contains many entries that are obsolete or do not work.

If you're considering buying a software package named "PC Satellite TV", "Satellite TV Elite", "Satellite TV on PC", "Satellite TV for PC Elite Edition", "TV on PC Elite", "Digital TV 4 PC" or anything similar, they are ALL THE SAME type of scam ware. You will pay $40 and in return you'll get a crappy software program that DOES NOT deliver what it promises.

You WILL NOT get any premium or pay-per-view channels for free. The only thing these packages offer is links to online video sites that you could find for free with a quick search on Google or Yahoo.

People pay $100 of dollars monthly to view Pay-Per-View channels at home or for a special even, so you telling me that everyone is stupid to pay for these and not really get something that offers everything for free?

Sorry, but there's no way to turn your PC into a satellite dish and get free HBO or MTV. But there is some good news, you can get a lot of free satellite television programming on your TV set, if you have a satellite dish and a "free-to-air" satellite receiver box. Some may consider this illegal or wrong but there are free-to-air channels where ever you may be. Let us talk about a free-to-air frequency in the city of Toronto. Well let’s say I don’t want to use a dish, I don’t want to use a satellite receiver and I don’t want to use a cable company or any satellite providers. Is there is a way to get channels for free?

YES, all you need is an antenna and a TV set. You connect the two together and there you are with free channels. Now if that was wrong or illegal the government would have set rules about it. But there is no rules, no regulations and no nothing illegal about it. The same way a satellite receiver looks for a free-to-air frequency and airs it on your satellite TV set. To learn more about this type of services please visit our TV Antenna Installation page and it will explain what you need. Some people call them Free-To-Air some people call them Over-The-Air but they are the same.

You can also use your internet and your own computer to browse through different websites related to the following channels and watch TV online:

I suggest that you first go to the official website of the TV station or broadcast that you'd like to watch and look for a link to view live or recent broadcasts. If you don't see what you want there, try one of these sites that aggregate content from various video and TV sites across the internet.

  1. Joost
  2. Hulu
  3. Veoh

Exposing these types of information has brought many threats I don’t know from where but from different places. These items will pop up somewhere through a web site and if it is noticed to be a scam it then quickly disappears and reappears as an affiliate link on a different website. This flow continues to go through many means with different links from various web sites.

Mostly these links are created by the owner or implemented software team to confuse the customer. They will even do everything they can to bring forums, feed backs, both positive and negative but EVERY TIME and in EVERY PLACE it is the exact same scam ware you tried to avoid last week or a month before.

My advice here is only meant to protect people who might otherwise be tempted to waste their money and fall for this scam. As we have mentioned before, these programs will NOT give you access to any Pay-Per-View channels or any Multicultural Specialty Channels such as UFC Fight Night, or Bollywood or B4U and so on and so.

To what we think of this software is more like a searchable list of websites that offer streaming videos and that is all. It could be a foreign movie or a news broadcast or show but it is more like a search engine or foreign national video channels.

You can do it yourself with search query in Google.com or Yahoo.com and you will be more than happy to find the same video that you just watched over in that program. What we think of this? We think of this as a dishonest invention from people who stand to profit from ignorance and people who continue to push this scam into something realistic.

It Is Nothing But A Scam

Do not waste your money on scam wares you can watch any football game, the NFL, NHL, UFC or FIFA on the web. Search it through Google.com and see what the results are. There are many other sites that offer viewing, for example use youtube.com and see what episodes you can catch there.
